Avery Thomas

Hi y’all, I’m Avery! You can also call me Ave. I’m North Carolina born and raised and I specifically got into Hurricanes hockey after watching the 2019 playoffs with my nana. I am a UNC-Greensboro alum (go Spartans!) and after completing an internship for course credit I realized how much I like to write. Combine that with how much I like the Canes and now I’m here, in addition to my self-published blog, theredheadedcaniac.wordpress.com. To be a budding writer is one thing, but to be a woman in sports writing is awesome and I can’t wait to make my voice heard.
