Jennifer was born and raised in New York State and grew up attending Binghamton Rangers games. Being the oldest of three brothers, it was hard to escape sports, even though her parents never got her involved in any like they did her brothers (yes she's bitter about it). Her mother's dream for her was to be a figure skater, though she never took her skating, which is an important element some would say... After graduating from college, Jennifer moved to Wilmington, NC where she worked for an ESPN radio station and had angry Yankee fans screaming at her over the phone every day. This would drive anyone to a career change, so Jennifer moved to Raleigh in July 2011 (wanting to be closer to the Canes had absolutely nothing to do with it!) She absolutely loathes the Philadelphia Flyers so don't even bring up the orange and black. Jennifer was dubbed the "Resident Jeff Skinner Incident Analyst" by fellow Cardiac Cane Sally due to her meticulous dissection of any episode in which he is involved. Her favorite Hurricanes player is Brandon Sutter, so perhaps being the Skinner analyst makes no sense.
