2023-24 Hurricanes Schedule Released

The turning of the page from last season to the upcoming season is becoming a reality with milestone events like the NHL buyout period, awards, and draft. Another look to the next season was the release of the 2023-24 NHL schedule.

Caniacs from all around the world can plan ahead to see the Hurricanes play at PNC Arena or on the road.

The pre-season is filled with five contests against the Tampa Bay Lightning, Florida Panthers, and Nashville Predators. Two of those games are at home just in case your craving for hockey is unbearable.

Opening night will also be the home opener at PNC Arena on October 11th which is a Wednesday. It will be quite a while that the Canes play in Raleigh as they head off on a 6 game road trip, spanning 11 days.

The first rematch of the Eastern Conference Finals will be played on November 10th in Miami against the Panthers.

The Canes will host the Edmonton Oilers and Connor McDavid the night before Thanksgiving, followed by the Lightning visiting the day after.

Another 6 game road trip will be played at the beginning of December but the Canes return to Raleigh before the holiday break with a matchup against the New York Islanders.

Carolina will drop the ball on the New Year in New York, playing the Rangers to start the 2024 calendar. January will see the Canes play 8 of 11 games on home ice.

The almost definite first pick in tonight’s draft, Connor Bedard, will make his first appearance against the Hurricanes on February 19th.

The regular season will finish on April 16th in Columbus but the last home game of the regular season will be April 7th against the Jackets.
