Betting Preview: Hurricanes Host the Arizona Coyotes
The Carolina Hurricanes are hosting the Arizona Coyotes this evening at PNC Arena. The night before the Thanksgiving match-up is sure to have a lot of offense.
The Hurricanes have struggled to get the offense going, but the Coyotes have given up 62 goals in just 17 games.
The Hurricanes salvaged a point in Winnipeg by having an outburst of scoring at the end of the third period. Scoring three goals to take the game to OT could be the boost needed for Rod Brind’Amour’s offense.
The Coyotes will see a familiar face in between the pipes for the Hurricanes as Antti Raanta will get the start. Raanta has given up 6 goals in his last two starts.
On the other side of the ice, the Coyote’s goaltending has given up 4 goals in each of the last three games played.
Clayton Keller has had a nice start to the season with 18 points but the scoring may come from the point with Shane Gostisbehere and Jakob Chychrun.
The power play will provide the Coyotes the best opportunity to contribute to the scoring line.
The Hurricanes have a plethora of players that are just itching to breakout. Sebastian Aho has stepped up his level of play and the puck will be finding the net shortly.
Martin Necas is having a stellar season with 23 points and his speed is creating offensive chances for Carolina.
The over 6 goals is my advice for the game tonight.
As of now the over odds for the game are a plus 100. Both teams will be looking to jump on errors from the opposition and I think both teams will be on the man advantage a lot.
