1. Dougie Hamilton Point Streak to Break NHL Season Record

I used this as my 1st key in my last ‘three keys’ article, and it worked so I’m rolling with it again.

Dougie Hamilton tied Auston Matthews‘ record for longest active point streak this season (13 games) in the Carolina Hurricanes’ last game against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

If he registers a goal or an assist tonight, he will have actively broken a season record set by one of the most prolific point-getters in the NHL.

Like I said in the aforementioned article, Dougie Hamilton is about to get paid; I just really, really hope that the guy signing the checks is still Tom Dundon. Do with that information what you will.
