The Carolina Hurricanes wrap up their long road trip tonight as they head to Nashville to take on the Predators. The Preds have been doing relatively well lately despite struggling for a majority of the season so far.

Nashville have won 4 of their last 5 games; tonight will be the first real test the Preds have had since February 9th, when they played the Tampa Bay Lightning last. The only teams they’ve played since then have been the Detroit Red Wings and the Columbus Blue Jackets.
The Canes are fresh off of an overtime win against the Florida Panthers, whereas Nashville had yesterday off, so we may see a disparity in energy levels between the two sides tonight.
Tonight’s game will be an interesting one from both sides; the Carolina Hurricanes dominated the Predators last time they played by a score of 4-2.
Like I said before, the Predators are still very much a struggling team who have managed to begin the process of righting the ship. Hopefully the Canes are able to disrupt that trend for them tonight.
