The Carolina Hurricanes finish up their Florida leg of the road trip tonight with their 3rd tilt of the season against the Florida Panthers. The Canes look to grab another 2 points courtesy of the Cats in tonight’s ‘rubber match’.

Tonight’s matchup is going to be an interesting one. Tempers seemed to flare for most of Saturday’s game, culminating in more than a few scrums at various positions on the ice.

More from Cardiac Cane

The Florida Panthers, currently tied with Tampa Bay for 1st in the Discover Central Division, look to elevate themselves back to the top of the heap as the Carolina Hurricanes look to become the third head in the three-headed dragon that currently reigns over the Division.

Despite winning in the shootout on Saturday night, the Carolina Hurricanes still have a lot to work on to ensure they walk away with another 2 points courtesy of the Florida Panthers.

I’d like to see a change in the crease, an increase in point production from the “top guys”, and I really just want Vincent Trocheck to score more against his old team again.
