The Carolina Hurricanes are on a three game losing streak and need some help. Let’s break down who needs to step up tonight.

Welp.

There is not too much to take away from last night, but the Canes did hang in there and tried to generate a comeback. And the comeback was almost complete. Early in the third all of the momentum swung our way but the puck just wouldn’t fall.

The 24 hour turn around games are scary, but this one could be good for the Canes. The boys have got to be mad, and who else to take it out on than the caps. Will Tom Wilson finally get ejected tonight? Will Svechnikov get back at Ovechkin? Who will get the last laugh tonight? Let’s break it down.

The Sweede has been LIGHTS OUT recently. What you might not know is Wallmark extended his point streak to 5 games last night. He has 7 points in the last 5 games, and this momentum has to carry in to tonight.

Ever since Haula’s injury Wallmark has learned to step up in the net front in a big way. He has also been much better getting down and dirty making the tough physical drive to the cage.

The Canes have relied on Wallmark the last few games to simply stay in the game. Tonight someone will have to help out Wallmark to seal the deal against the capitals.

Once again Teravainen hits’em with a no look pass last night. This man is a wizard, Harry Potter 2.0.

Yes ofcourse the pass was to none other than Wallmark. These two link up tonight could be a quiet little treasure for your fantasy team. Last night a lone they had 7 fantasy points combined and if they do it again tonight, it could help you comeplete the fantasy win this week.

Even if the pass isn’t to Wallmark Teravainen will more than likley be on the bored with an assist. He has the team best 31 assists on the season so far. If you happen to miss a goal just go check twitter real quick to see if Teravainen got the primary or secondary assist.

Pesce has been one of the most solid defensemen in the leauges, second to Jaccob Slavin all year. While Slavin has seen the back of the net a little bit more this yeat Pesce actually has 12 points on the year, and 1 in each of the last two games.

There was actaully a mid game line change to bump Pesce up to D-line 1 with Slavin last night. The two blue liners with the most solid defesive skills in the NHL is a dangerous pair. Expect Pesce to keep his trend up tonight, he’s hungry and wants more.

Yes all of these players stepped up last night and they will need to have an even bigger game tonight. They also need some help from the super stars.
