Fantasy Picks and Betting Odds for the Carolina Hurricanes vs Wild
The Carolina Hurricanes are going into tonight’s game to try and find a better balance to the month of December. Here is how you can too!
The Carolina Hurricanes in their last five games have gone win, loss, win, loss, win. Now they are trying to break out of this rut and string together two wins in a row. With the Bill Peters controversy behind them and a new practice facility to look forward to, this team has nothing but a shiny future to look forward to.
That starts tonight with a win against the Minnesota Wild who has been riding a five game winning streak and an 11 game point streak through Thanksgiving and into December. This will not be an easy game for the Hurricanes but you can get your points in this huge game with plenty of opportunities.
Give me fuel, give me fire, give me Nino Niederreiter!
Nino could not seem to find to the back of the net to save his life in recent games. In fact he has been struggling to get on the board in any manner. No goals or points. Tonight that will all change as he takes on his previous team.
My expectations for Nino aren’t high, but he will come back tonight with a vengeance. Tonight is the night he proves he still has it. After all if we remember correctly, the Trade was one for one.
Jake Gardiner gets a lot of heat for his play, or lack there of offensively. His goal against the Sharks to retake a lead was his second all season and his first during regulation. Not good for an offensive defender. So how will he respond now that he has started down his road towards redemption?
Easy, he is going to go on a point streak. He is going to control the narrative around him and take a hold of his career once again as he sets himself up for success. He will prove to be a FA pick up worth the value of his contract and the fans just might cool off.
You may have not noticed but Warren Foegele had a multi-point night against the Sharks. He has quietly come back to life and will continue to be that force tonight for the Hurricanes. Tonight is the night he gets back in the goal scoring department regardless of who his line-mates will be. There is no excuse for anything less than stellar performance from #13 tonight.
Noticing a theme here tonight? Its because there is a sense that this team is going back to being one where everyone is contributing and the goals are scored by every player to help fill the gaps. Tonight it will be Warren Foegele.
