The Carolina Hurricanes have an All-Star representative in Sebastian Aho but the remaining 12 players for the game can be voted into the game. Seth Jarvis has had a solid season so far and would be great on the big stage in Toronto. You can vote at NHL.com/vote to get him in!

Caniac Nation is a little bitter about last year's effort to get Martin Necas to Florida. The fan base is passionate and has shown the rest of the NHL, so let's put an exclamation to that point.

The All-Star game is not what it used to be but it is a great opportunity for unknown players to shine on the big stage for the whole NHL world. A player like Jarvis is on the upswing and if fans don't know about him they surely will soon.

One of Jarvis's greatest characteristics is his personality and with the format changing back to the fantasy draft, this could be a great opportunity for the 21-year old to show off that personality. That will lead to more eyes on the Manitoba native in the big game.

Jarvis has 28 points this year and is on pace to set career highs. With 14 goals, he is just 3 goals away from tying his career high from his rookie season. His character and work ethic has made him one of the faces of the franchise.

Additionally, Jarvis has 8 goals in the post season at such a young age. The spotlight has never been too big for this kid.

An extremely important piece for the Canes in the future, Jarvis is a restricted free agent this summer. Surely, general manager, Don Waddell, will have signing Jarvis back as one of his top priorities this off-season.

Whether he is voted in this year or not, Jarvis has plenty of All-Star appearances ahead of him.
