As the Carolina Hurricanes return from the 4 Nations Face-Off break, the stretch run of the season has officially begun. Only 25 games separate the group from the playoffs, though the first step is clinching a spot in the big dance. With plenty of work left to be done, there is a lot to speculate about heading into the final months of the regular season.

Here are five predictions I have for the remainder of the Hurricanes season. These range from individual achievements to team success and performance. They might not be the most ground-breaking predictions on the planet, but they're a good place to start. There are a lot of ways this season can go, though I'm optimistic good things are ahead for the Canes.
