Calgary would make it 4-3 in the third, but Carolina would pull away from the Alberta-based hockey club to double them up by a score of 6-3.

This was the kind of game that the Canes needed from their roster. To settle down and into game shape after a long delay due to schedule alterations caused by the Canadian government’s response to the newest wave of COVID-19, so this is the first game they have played in a week. It showed at the beginning of the game as the team displayed a lot of rust and just an inability to get going.
