The Carolina Hurricanes enter tonight’s contest against the Detroit Red Wings fresh off of two massive divisional wins. What needs to be done to ensure they extend their winning streak tonight?

Coming off wins on back to back nights over the Islanders and Penguins this weekend, the Carolina Hurricanes look to keep the ball rolling tonight in the Motor City when they face off against the Detroit Red Wings.

With 7-3 and 2-0 wins over the Wings earlier this season, the Hurricanes will look to sweep the three game series. In both of their early meetings Sebastian Aho was all over the score sheet. With three goals and two assists, his five points helped propel the Canes to victory.

This time around, the Wings have a bit of momentum going into the contest. Also coming off a two game win streak, Detroit shouldn’t be overlooked. We’ve seen a couple of lackluster performances cost the Hurricanes valuable points of late so expect them to come out firing on all cylinders again tonight.

Without further ado, let’s take a look at three keys to another Carolina Hurricanes victory.
