4. Winnipeg Jets: W 6-3

Just another road game right? Just looking for the next two points, a W, no need to re-write the history books again right? WRONG. Andrei Svechnikov does it again!

NO GOALIE IS SAFE WITH SVECHNIKOV BEHIND THE NET!! Svechnikov became the first and second player to ever complete “The Michigan” now known as “The Svech” in an NHL game. And for he second time this season Svechnikov broke the internet. Nobody is safe.

The exciting thing is, this wasn’t the only amazing thing to happen that night. Aho and Staal were both on hat trick watch in the third period, and by far the Canes came out faster than they ever have this season. Speed, good passes and clean entries for the entire game. The Canes had found their groove and playing very pretty hockey.

All around this game was not only fun to watch but important to see for fans. If this Hurricanes unit that showed up and showed out in Winnipeg shows up in 2020, there could be a return of Lord Stanley’s Cup to Raleigh NC.
