Andrei Svechnikov

Andrei Svechnikov is one track to potentially become one of the all time great Carolina Hurricanes. Though sometimes he can be a bit careless with taking penalties, that can be attributed to the fact that he’s still a kid. At just 19 years old, he’s already putting up great numbers for the Canes. He’s also just going to get better as time goes on.

He aslo had the first lacrosse goal in NHL history. No one can ever take that away from him, the Carolina Hurricanes, or the fans that were in the stands at PNC arena that night.

Like previously mentioned with Dougie, he has great chemistry with his teammates. Especially the previously mentioned Hamilton and Foegele. The fans also love Svech with a rabid passion. Well they love everyone with a rabid passion, but Svech a bit more so.

He’s great with fan interactions, which may not seem like much. But in a time when a lot of younger players seem let their egos get the better of them it come to interacting with their fans, it’s nice and heartwarming to see Svech take his time with everyone.

Plus he gave us “LETS GO DOOOOOGIE!!!” How could you not love him for that?

Now onto my personal favorite player and the guy who coined the phrase “Yeah Svech!”
