Emilia Clarke

Daenerys of the House Targaryen, the First of Her Name, The Unburnt, Queen of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Men, Queen of Meereen, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Protector of the Realm, Lady Regent of the Seven Kingdoms, Breaker of Chains and Mother of Dragons.

Emilia Clarke, 32, is an Emmy nominated actress who is best known for her portrayal of Daenerys Targaryen on HBO’s behemoth of a hit TV show, Game of Thrones. She is originally from London in the United Kingdom. She went to school at the Drama Centre in London and has starred in many plays, as well as multiple movies.

While she doesn’t have any ties to North Carolina like many past siren sounders have had, it would be cool to see the Canes bring her out. It would obviously get the crowd pumped up hearing the siren, but it would also be a pleasure for fans of the show, like myself, to see one of the actresses from the show that brought us so much joy and emotional trauma. Announcing that a big name like her is going to make an appearance at a game would for sure draw in more people.

If the Hurricanes really wanted to go all in on this, they could have Emilia sound the siren on a Game of Thrones night. Complete with custom Thrones-themed merchandise, food, and maybe even the sweet prince Hamilton the Pig in a dragon costume.

The Canes bringing her out will also send a message to the opposing team that we will take what is ours with fire and blood! (Sorry not sorry).

Onto someone mythical.
