Roy Cooper

He may not be the definition of a celebrity, but the current siting governor of North Carolina, Roy Copper, has become a rising star in the hockey community.

Regardless of his political beliefs, he has been following the Carolina Hurricanes for years. As a former season ticket member, he is just like many of us in the caniacs.

His support of the bunch of jerks became even more prominent throughout the season last year, even honoring the team in the executive mansion after the Carolina Hurricanes’ ECF loss to Boston. Roy Cooper has been well noted by the fans and to see him on the ice with the players would be a sight to see.
