Scouting Report

Often the forgotten player on the first line of forwards for the Canes, Teuvo Teravainen is a naturally gifted scorer. He combines with Jordan Staal and Justin Williams to form one of the most underrated top lines in the Eastern Conference.

If the Canes want to be successful on offense this season, it starts with players like Teravainen. The release that Teravainen possesses is absolutely lethal. He scored his first two goals of the season against the Edmonton Oilers as well.

Teravainen posted a career-high in points last season with the Canes with 42. He’ll be counted on to manage at least 45-50 and at least 20 goals. Tervainen definitely has the talent to get that accomplished. However, it’s just a matter of the Canes putting forward a consistent offensive effort for the majority of the 2017-18 campaign.
