The 2014-2015 NHL regular season is rapidly approaching, and the Carolina Hurricanes coaching staff and front office will have many big decisions to make in regards to their opening night roster.
Players like Eric Staal, Jordan Staal, and Jeff Skinner are all locks for the opening night roster pending any injuries, but there are many players that are on the border.
The regular season opener for the Carolina Hurricanes is October 10 against New York Islanders at the PNC Arena.
