The Carolina Hurricanes helped their goalie depth with the signings of Drew MacIntyre,  former goalie with the Toronto Maple Leafs.

MacIntyre spent almost all of last year in the AHL with the Toronto Marlies, the AHL affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs. He posted an impressive 29-15-3 record with the Marlies.

In 2 NHL games last season, Drew MacIntyre went 0-1-0 with a .922 save percentage and a 2.53 goals against average.

Drew MacIntyre will come in and be the third goalie with the Carolina Hurricanes. He will likely be the starting goalie of the Charlotte Checkers at the beginning of the 2014-2015 season.

This is a good depth goalie signing by the Carolina Hurricanes, and MacIntyre could end up seeing some action with the Canes next season.
