My Opinion

Connor McDavid and Jack Eichel will be the story of the 2015 NHL Draft. Many scouts have said these two players can be NHL superstars.

Medvescak Zagreb in the KHL selected future NHL star Connor McDavid with the 77th pick in the draft. While it’s good for McDavid, he won’t play there, unless something goes horribly wrong with his development.

The KHL has tried to get star players from North America for years, and it just looks like this is another attempt for them to get a potential superstar.

Connor McDavid would have to sign with Zagreb in order for him to play next season for them, so that makes it pretty unlikely for him to move over there. Expect McDavid to play next year with the Erie Otters in the OHL prior to being selected with the 1st pick in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
