Justin Peters added to Team Canada roster

Justin Peters may not be too sure on where he’s playing next season, but he knows where he’ll be for most of the month of May as he was added to Canada’s roster for the World Hockey Championship.

Peters was the third goalie named after James Reimer and Ben Scrivens.

I doubt Peters will see much time — if any — with the Canada team, but good for him on being named. Not a lot of players get to represent their country and Peters has that opportunity this summer.

The naming should also help his chances with finding a club as it brings plenty of recognition in the league and if he does get to play, it could do wonders as he may have to find another team this offseason.
