Charlotte Checkers Recap

The Checkers will have another chance to improve their playoff push against the San Antonio Rampage today as they take on the team they beat on Friday night at 1: 30 p.m.

In Friday’s game, the power-play and Chris Terry led the team to a win as the long-time Checker scored twice on the man-advantage in the game as the Checkers won 4-3.

However, they also gave up a three-goal lead that simply can’t happen again if the team wants to make the playoffs in the tight Western Conference.

John Muse earned the win and has been the go-to goalie of late and may be back in net. Mike Murphy has also played well and is a strong option to go back to.

The Checkers now have a game in hand against the Oklahoma City Barons again and cannot waste this opportunity as they have done in the past. There are only 12 games left and crunch time is upon them.
