Charlotte Checkers Recap

The Checkers are on a three-game winning streak after defeating the Norfolk Admirals in comeback fashion last night, 3-2.

At the end of one, the Admirals led 1-0 after Emerson Etem scored his 14th of the season. Chris Terry scored the lone goal in the second to tie the game at one.

Halfway through the third, David Steckel scored for the Admirals to give them a 2-1 lead. Five minutes later, Phillipe Cornet scored to tie it.

With 46 seconds left, Sean Dolan scored his second of the year to win the game for the Checkers and earn them a valuable two points in the standings.

Ryan Murphy had an assist, his 11th game in a row with a point. Justin Peters made 24 saves for his third win in a row.

The Checkers play the San Antonio Rampage next on Friday.
