Charlotte Checkers Recap

The Checkers will make up their game from Jan. 28 against the Norfolk Admirals that was postponed due to weather, tonight at 7:15 p.m.

Things have been going well for the Checkers lately, with a two-game winning streak that has pushed the team slightly back into playoff competition.

The Admirals are fifth in the Eastern Conference and aren’t competing with Charlotte for a playoff spot, but every game has become important for the Checkers.

Zach Boychuk had a hat trick in the last game and now has 27 goals on the season. His offense has led the team, while Justin Peters has been strong in net during his conditioning stint.
