Ryan Kesler of the Vancouver Canucks has had a great career, but it looks like he is ready to move on to a new team. It was reported in late February that the American centerman requested a trade early in the season, and that he wants out of Vancouver.
According to Rob Rossi of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, the Pittsburgh Penguins are “very interested” in Kesler, and they are likely the number one team in the race for him.
“BTW, did some digging last 36 hrs. Yinz can officially consider it a #KeslerWatch. #pens very interested and sounds like they’re on his list.”

The Pittsburgh Penguins offered up, former Carolina Hurricanes center, Brandon Sutter, a first-round draft pick, a third-round draft pick, and either Brian Dumoulin or Simon Despres for Ryan Kesler according to reports.
While the Pittsburgh Penguins would like the get a deal done for Ryan Kesler soon, it may be more likely that a trade would occur at the NHL Draft.
Whatever happens over the next three days, it is bound to an exciting trade deadline across the NHL.
