Charlotte Checkers Preview

After postponing Friday’s game against the Abbottsford Heat due to the snowy weather, the two teams will meet in the first game of the two-game series this afternoon at 5 p.m. The game will be played in Raleigh.

The two teams played earlier this month and things did not go well for the Checkers as they both games and by a combined 11-4 score.

John Muse has typically been the better goalie for Charlotte this season, but is going through a rough stretch. Mike Murphy has played better than his teammate in recent games, but a good game in net would be huge for the Checkers.
