Charlotte Checkers Recap

The Checkers completed a comeback to earn two points against the Milwaukee Admirals, earning a 3-2 win. Matt Corrente scored the first goal of the game before two goals from the Admirals put the team in the lead.

Corrente scored his second of the game in the second period to tie the game. Philippe Cornet ended up scoring the game-winner six minutes into the third period for the Checkers.

Corrente’s two goals were his first of the season and first as a Checker. Aaron Palushaj had two assists, while Chris Terry, Brody Sutter, Brett Sutter, Justin Shugg and Victor Rask all had one.

John Muse got back in the win column making 29 saves on 31 shots. With Anton Khudobin being sent down for a conditioning stint, Muse may see less time in net over the next week or so.
