Charlotte Checkers Preview

The Checkers will look to continue their strong play as they take on the Norfolk Admirals for the second time in a row tonight at 7 ET. The two teams met on Sunday with the Admirals coming back to send the game to overtime before Aaron Palushaj won the game with 46 seconds left.

John Muse earned his third win in a row with 36 saves and after signing a contract with the Checkers on Wednesday, he’ll likely be the starter again in net.

After a disastrous November, Charlotte is playing better in December, but still find itself deep in a hole in the Western Conference standings. The team is in 13th place, but only five points out of the final playoff spot. If the Checkers can continue to play like they’ve been playing, they can easily reach the playoffs again.
