Charlotte Checkers Preview

After winning two games and earning four points over the San Antonio Rampage in the middle of the week, the Checkers will look to carry that momentum this afternoon against the Norfolk Admirals at 5 ET.

Charlotte is now one point behind the Rampage in the Western Conference and have a game in hand. With a win, the team can move into 12th place, which would at least be a start to the recovery of an awful November.

Chris Terry and Zach Boychuk have led the offense lately, while John Muse earned two wins over the Rampage. Mike Murphy has taken a back seat to Muse during his hot stretch, and it’s likely he will be in net again today.

As mentioned earlier, Austin Levi will get his first start in the AHL in the game.
