Charlotte Checkers Preview

The Checkers will play the Hershey Bears tonight at home at 7 p.m. ET. The team has had some bad luck recently losing three in a row, after starting the season 5-3-1 in the month of October.

There have been two main concerns for the team in goaltending and scoring. The excellent goaltending the team was getting from John Muse and Justin Peters isn’t there anymore. Also the scoring that was coming from veterans like Zach Boychuk and Mark Flood has dried up and instead scoring has come up from players like Matt Marquardt and Brendan Woods.

However, Victor Rask is still playing strong. The Bears don’t have a great record, at 3-4-2 and the two-game series could be a good place to get back on the tracks for the Checkers.
