Thursday Hurricanes Report

Carolina Hurricanes News

My Opinion: Murphy has looked fine in the NHL and seems like he could play the full season with the Canes. I also believe that he has looked better than Brett Bellemore in the three games so far, although Bellemore has not looked bad either.

Tim Gleason travelled with the team to Pittsburgh, but hasn’t skated yet. Judging from that, he should be back in the lineup soon (a week or so) and the Canes will have a tough decision to make between Gleason and Murphy.

My guess right know is Murphy sticks, but a lot could happen in the next three games or so that could change things.
