Charlotte Checkers Recap

The Checkers beat the Oklahoma City Baron again last night by a score of 3-2. Zach Boychuk, Aaron Palushaj and Mark Flood scored for the Checkers. It was the second goal in a row for Flood and the Checkers are now 2-0 on the season. Boychuk also added an assist and Mike Murphy earned the win.

Metropolitan Division Recap

  • Blue Jackets beat the Islanders, 4-3, in a shutout
  • Flyers lost to the Canadiens
  • Penguins beat the Sabres
  • Capitals fell to the Stars
  • Penguins now have a sole lead of the division with four points. The Islanders sit right under them.
