Hurricanes Practice Updates

Note: Information is taken from beat reporters like Chip Alexander and Michael Smith. However, opinions are my own.

  • Tuomo Ruutu skated for the second day of practice
  • Jim Rutherford said Ruutu could be a week away from returning, which is sooner than what was originally thought.
  • Mike Komisarek was the seventh defenseman in practice yesterday. I think this goes to show how strong of a training camp Brett Bellemore had. He was able to make the team and may have beat out the veteran Komisarek.
  • Elias Lindholm practiced on the first power-play unit with Eric Staal and Alexander Semin.
