Hurricanes vs Canadiens Recap
Things are not getting better for the Hurricanes as they dropped their third preseason game, 6-0, to the Montreal Canadiens last night.
Just to make things more clear, the Canadiens scored on a fluke goal from behind the net that banked off Cam Ward’s skate and into the net and another that was scored on a penalty shot. So one was a fluke and another was a diffiult-to-stop shot.
But the Canes also gave up two goals on the first four shots and allowed four goals in the first period. The team needs better starts than that to compete in games.
I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, it’s only preseason. The score is not pretty at all, but right now the games don’t count. Things should be worked out by the start of the season.
