Training Camp Update

Note: Information is taken from Hurricanes beat reporters such as Chip Alexander and Michael Smith, however opinions are my own.

  • The Canes held their first scrimmage yesterday. Zac Dalpe scored a goal for the Red Team, while Mike Komisarek and Nicolas Blanchard got in a fight.
  • Lines stayed the same in scrimmage, including Radek Dvorak with Jordan Staal and Tuomo Ruutu
  • Jiri Tlusty was injured in the scrimmage after taking hit along the boards from Brendan Woods. He was taken off for evaluation and missed the second part of practice. However, Muller said Tlusty would be back in practice today.
  • Drayson Bowman played on the top line with Staal and Semin: It’s good for Bowman that he was played on the line. It will likely give him confidence for training camp.
