Carolina Hurricanes News

My Opinion: Staal definitely had a tough 2012-13 season. His wingers changed often and he wasn’t able to get in a groove. Playing with Tuomo Ruutu and his other winger, who is yet to be determined, in training camp should help chemistry grow and settle Staal in better.

This season, the Hurricanes need more consistency in their lineup. Injuries played a huge role in that, but if coach Kirk Muller can do his best with keeping the same players together, things should be better. After all the only offensive line that stayed together was Eric Staal‘s line.
