My Opinion: Lindholm, Rask and McGinn are definitely the most likely to make the Canes roster this season. The only one I see as being a lock is Lindholm and he should have a big impact on this team next season.

Rask is the next most possible to make the team, but he’ll need to impress in training camp, while transitioning to a wing spot. If he does make the team, I do not think that he will make as big of an impact as Lindholm. Rask would most likely be put in a defensive role.

McGinn, I would consider a longshot to make the roster. He has a great shot and know his way around the offensive zone, but there’s going to be a lot of competition for him. Dalpe, Bowman, Boychuk and Gerbe are all players that have an offensive acumen and are more experienced than McGinn.

But no matter who makes the team, it’s clear the Hurricanes have a decent, young trio.
