Carolina Hurricanes News

My Opinion: The top three is obvious with Elias Lindholm, Ryan Murphy and Victor Rask. I was surprised that Zac Dalpe was ranked at fourth. He’s scored in the AHL, but hasn’t been able to do as much in the NHL and has never stuck with the Canes.

From there a lot of Cardiac Canes and Robert’s list is similar, except for a few players moving up and down spots.

I was surprised to see Austin Levi ranked at 15th. He’s impressed in juniors and has a chance to make an impact with the Charlotte Checkers next season.

It’s nice to see Brent Pedersen and Tyler Ganly make the list after being drafted this year. It shows that the team made the right picks in the later rounds of the draft.

Robert shows a lot of trust in Jared Staal, which I also have. It’s likely he’ll make the NHL someday, the only question is when. Staal will have a chance this summer, but it may need to take a year or two to hone his game in the AHL.
