Saturday Hurricanes Report

Carolina Hurricanes News

My Opinion: Last season was some of the worst luck any team could go through. The Canes dealt with injuries the whole season and the offense could not buy a goal in the second half of the shortened season.

Injuries can never be predicted. Some teams have easier times with them, while others experience plenty of problems. The Hurricanes just have to hope for better health entering next season.

As for the offense, it’s what Corey said, players should improve next year, most notably Jordan Staal and Jeff Skinner, which will help the Canes bad luck in the goal-scoring column.
