Carolina Hurricanes Free Agency Primer


The NHL Free Agency starts tomorrow and the Carolina Hurricanes may sign some players to add depth to the offense and defense.

Here is what you need to know about the Canes going into tomorrow:

Cap Space (according to capgeek.com): $6,397,500 (teams are allowed to go 10% over salary cap during the summer, which is at $64.3 million)

It’s unlikely that the Hurricanes sign any of their UFAs, except Dan Ellis, depending on what the Canes decide to do with their back-up goalie for next season.
