  • Pros: Also a Flyers defenseman, Meszaros has not been a big name since going to Philly, but that’s not a bad thing. Meszaros plays a solid offensive and defensive game and when he’s on his game can be better than Coburn. He’s signed at $4 million a year, but only for the next season. The Sloviakan defenseman is also a big hitter and positionally sound.
  • Cons: One reason why Meszaros hasn’t made a huge name for himself is injuries. He’s had a couple major injuries in the past two seasons that have kept him out of the line-up for long periods of time. This would be a huge concern for any team that has Meszaros, but the Flyers would take very little for him, which may make the deal worth it.
