  • Pros: The Philadelphia Flyers’ defenseman plays a strong defensive and mobile game. At the beginning of his career, Coburn looked as if he would turn into an offensive defenseman, but is now seen more as a shut-down blue-liner. The Flyers need cap space and Coburn could possibly be traded. He carries a $4.5 million salary, but can play in the top four and over 20 minutes a night.
  • Cons: Last season was extremely rough on Coburn. He made defensive and offensive mistakes every night that led to the possibility of him being traded. He is not prone to injuries, but did miss a good chunk of last season with an injury. His salary is also a bit high, but only by a million at most.
