- An evaluation of Tuomo Ruutu, Chad LaRose, Pat Dwyer, Tim Brent and Kevin Westgarth by Matt Karash (HockeyBuzz)
My Opinion: I really have to agree with everything Matt says here. Ruutu had a good season, even if it was shortened. Dwyer needs to improve, while Brent and LaRose had bad seasons and need to be replaced in the offseason. Westgarth looked fine in his role, but expecting a ton of minutes from the former-King is setting the bar too high.

Yesterday’s Stanley Cup Final Game
- It was the fifth longest in NHL history, but it finally came to an end when Andrew Shaw deflected a Michal Rozsival shot past Tuukka Rask to win the game for the Chicago Blackhawks in the third overtime. Milan Lucic scored twice and Patrice Bergeron scored once to give the Boston Bruins a 3-1 lead in the third period. Brandon Saad had earlier scored for the Hawks. David Bolland and Johnny Oduya scored in the third to send the game into overtime. Rask made 59 saves, while Corey Crawford made 51. The Blackhawks lead the series 1-0.
