Yesterday’s Playoff Games

  • David Krejci and Tuukka Rask led the Boston Bruins to a 3-0 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins in Game One. Krejci scored the first two goals of the game, extending his points lead in the playoffs. Meanwhile Rask made 29 saves for his first playoff shutout. Nathan Horton scored the third goal and assisted on both of Krejci’s goals to give him three points in the game. Pens’ Tomas Vokoun made 27 saves in the loss. Bruins lead series 1-0 and will Game Two on Monday night.
  • Former-Hurricane Justin Williams got the scoring started for the Los Angeles Kings, but that was all they could muster as they loss Game One, 2-1 to the Chicago Blackhawks. Patrick Sharp and Marian Hosso scored for the Hawks, while Michal Handzus had two assists. Corey Crawford made 21 saves and Jonathan Quick made 34. Blackhawks lead series 1-0.
