Yesterday’s Playoff Game

  • Justin Williams and Jonathan Quick led the Los Angeles Kings to a 2-1 Game Seven win over the San Jose Sharks and a berth into the Western Conference Finals. Williams scored both goal for the Kings, both in the second period. Slava Voynov recorded two assists, while Anze Kopitar and Drew Doughty had one each. Dan Boyle scored for the Sharks in the third period, but the team could not mount a comeback. Quick made 25 saves in the win. Antti Niemi only saw 18 shots, making 16 saves. The Kings will now play the winner of the Chicago Blackhawks/Detroit Red Wings series.
