  • Justin Faulk and Jaime McBain won the bronze medal as Team USA beat Finland 3-2
  • Sweden beat Switzerland 5-1 to earn the gold medal in the tournament

Yesterday’s Playoff Games

  • A balanced offense and scoring from the defense led the Boston Bruins to a 5-2 win over the New York Rangers. Torey Krug scored his second goal in his second playoff game to get the scoring started. Gregory Campbell, Johnny Boychuk, Brad Marchand and Milan Lucic also scored for the Bruins, while Patrice Bergeron had two assists. Rick Nash scored his first career playoff goal for the Rangers. The Bruins lead the series 2-0
  • With less than 30 seconds left in regulation, the Ottawa Senators pulled their goalie on the penalty kill and Daniel Alfredsson scored to send the game into overtime against the Pittsburgh Penguins. It took until the second overtime for Colin Greening to put a rebound past Tomas Vokoun and win the game for the Sens. Tyler Kennedy scored for the Penguins. Pens now lead the series 2-1.
