Seven Days to Skinny: Day Six

The countdown to Jeff Skinner’s birthday started Monday with a walk down All-Star weekend memory lane. Tuesdays are tantalizing around Cardiac Cane, so I decided to dedicate this post to sexy shots of Skinny…just kidding. I have more respect for him than to do that. Kidding again, I just like to keep those pictures to myself.

However, in keeping in line with tempting Tuesday, today’s birthday salute will include Skinner’s most exciting moments. These plays floored fans, overjoyed sports writers, and made announcers stutter.

Jeff’s first NHL goal with the Carolina Hurricanes:

Skinner’s 50th goal with the Kitchener Rangers:

His shootout goal in his second NHL game, that’s right, his second game.

Playing soccer and avoiding a shutout.

Regaining the lead against the New York Rangers.

Very nice collection of Skin’s playoff goals with the Rangers.
