The Carolina Hurricanes were able to take two of four points on the weekend losing 4-2 to Philadelphia on Saturday and dominating the Bruins on Sunday 5-1. Now the focus is on the trading deadline and when will the first shoe drop. The Hurricanes have asked Ray Whitney and Nic Wallin to waive their no trades which is a signal of whats coming. This week brings games against the Rangers, Islanders, and Blackhawks. The Hurricanes should see stiff competition from all three, but with the way Cam Ward is playing I expect the Hurricanes to win two out of three, but we will see.
