Rutherford should have waited until the end of the year. Eric Staal is a great player but has yet to prove himself as a consistent member of the NHL Elite. I would rather see Rod back in Philly then hanging up the skates after this season. My one question is "did they do this to Ron Francis his final year?" If no, then why do it to Rod.
